Aam Aadmi Party Chief Aravind Kejriwal stated that his party would campaign for BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections if the Centre grants New Delhi a full statehood.
Speaking at the Delhi assembly, he said, “Grant full statehood for Delhi and every vote will go in favor of BJP and AAP will campaign for BJP in the 2019 elections. But if you fail to do so the party would conduct a ‘BJP, Quit Delhi’ campaign.”
He reminded the ruling party of the resolutions it made during the previous elections. These comments come as a surprise as the Chief Minister of Delhi was in talks with several leaders regarding the formation of the anti-BJP and anti-Congress federal front.
