It is an open secret that Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu and Telangana chief minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao were very active during 2018 Karnataka elections. These leaders personally oversaw the JDS-Congress alliance in order to make sure that BJP does not find its feet in South India. However, the latest developments in the Kannada are troubling KCR and Babu.
Going by the latest reports, JDS chief, Deve Gowda has asked his party leaders to prepare contestants for all the 28MP seats with 2019 Lok Sabha elections in mind. This makes it clear that JDS is not honoring the alliance code as they are preparing themselves to contest from all the constituencies. If this turns reality, Congress and JDS will have to cut their ties even before the following elections.
There were rumors that Congress party was reluctant to implement loan waiver scheme, but Kumaraswamy stood firmly by his decision and made sure that the scheme went through. This seems to have caused big rifts between these parties and the discontentment of senior leaders during cabinet expansion acted as another catalyst in the process, revealed a report. If these parties end their alliance, BJP will be directly benefited and that is troubling Babu and KCR, opine many people.
