AP Chief Minister has reportedly disappointed the Telangana TDP after he announced that he intends to stay away from the election campaign in the state. This came as a rude shock to the TDP leaders in Telangana who had been expectant to win votes on Naidu’s image.
According to sources, the Chief Minister announced at the state level party meeting that he would be extremely busy for the next three months with many important programs in Andhra and hence he wouldn’t be able to participate in Telangana’s state campaign.
Apparently, the party leaders were planning to rope in Chandra Babu as their star campaigner in Telangana to increase their visibility but the CM’s decision left them scouring for an alternative. Reports say that they ruled out the option of Nara Lokesh. Looks like the TDP in Telangana will have a hard time in trying to make an impact on the people.
