Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandra Babu Naidu previously held two Dharma Porata Deeksha’s, one at Tirupati and another at Vijayawada. Sadly, both these protest events saw very minimal turnouts and the public did not recognize Babu’s efforts. However, CBN scored the brownie points with his latest Deeksha that was held at Vizag.
TDP leaders made grand arrangements for the protest event that west held at Andhra University grounds and made sure that the event will be a huge success. The premises were filled with yellow party supporters and working level cadre. As expected, Babu criticised the opposition party leader YS Jagan and added that the newly surfaced party(Janasena) are backstabbing the people of AP by supporting BJP.
Setting aside the criticising part, CBN’s Dharma Porata Deeksha could witness huge crowds and support from the general public. It would be safe to say that this is the first time Babu’s Deeksha had a real impact, thanks to the immense hard work from the cadre. It needs to be seen if the yellow brigade can keep up the momentum and hold more such impactful protests.
