Cricket legend, Sunil Gavaskar breathed fire on the Indian batsmen after the top order collapsed like a pack of cards in the first session itself.

“Is this how you guys play test match cricket? I don’t understand why our players have this irresistible temptation to play the deliveries that are bowled outside the off stump line. Kookaburra balls are designed to swing just in the initial stages. The batsmen should have stayed calm during the beginning of the innings and then pick up the pace. But most certainly, it was a really poor display from the Indian batsmen”, said Sunny.

India’s score currently stands at 250/9. Hazlewood, Starc, Lyon, and Cummins picked up two wickets each. Pujara(123) is the top scorer for India.

India needs to restrict the Australian batsmen in the second innings or we may end up losing the first test.
