Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader and Narasaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao is allegedly disappointed with the yellow party.
Sambasiva Rao who was vying for the TDP MP ticket from Narasaraopet for himself and an MLA Sattenapalli Assembly constituency ticket for his son Ranga Rao is reportedly upset with Chandrababu Naidu.
Chandrababu Naidu has not yet announced a ticket to either Sambasiva or his son Ranga Rao. It is learnt that Chandrababu wants to give Narasaraopet Lok Sabha ticket to Bhashyam Schools Chairman Ramakrishna.
This has allegedly lead to Sambasiva Rao contemplating better prospects in the opposition YSR Congress party.
Sources close to the senior TDP leader from Narasaraopet reveal that Sambasiva Rao is currently holding meetings with his supporters regarding his decision of quitting the TDP.
According to media reports, the top brass of leaders from the YSRCP is already in touch the Sambasiva Rao and his family regarding their candidature for the upcoming elections.
