Ex- Karnataka chief minister, Siddaramaiah made some interesting revelations about his addictions in the early days.
I was a chain smoker in the past and puffed away somewhere around 40 cigarettes a day. My friends used to bring foreign cigarettes and I would smoke all of them in a single day. After a point, I realized that smoking can eventually claim my life and that is the day when I quit smoking. It has been 31 years since I last smoked a cigarette, said Siddaramaiah at a recent conference on cancer awareness.
The Congress party leader said that cigarette smoking can literally destroy one’s medical health and advised the youth to stay away from this addiction.
