Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu has over 40 years political experience up his sleeves. The senior leader has been active in state politics and national-level politics as well. However, he is struggling to get AP on development track and failing miserably in many departments. The development works at Amaravati are snail-paced, the unemployment allowance is nowhere to be seen, and the RBI has been constantly warning the state over deficit budget.
It needs to be said that Babu is in a tough spot currently even with all his experience. On the other hand, a relatively inexperienced leader, Jagan is rolling out various promises with 2019 elections in mind. He recently said that YCP will be providing uninterrupted employment to every community, ensuring their financial stability. Also, he has been saying that the party will be revamping the current-day educational system in the state. It is very clear that he is banking on the backlash that TDP has attained in the past 4 years.
Here comes the big question. If an experienced and seasoned political leader like Babu is struggling, can a young and inexperienced leader like Jagan ensure the progress of the state? Only time will tell.
