The test series between India and West Indies is set to be kickstarted soon. The first test match will be played on October 4th at the Rajkot stadium and the players have been sweating it out at the nets.
Speaking about the team selection and its related criteria, Harbhajan said that the team management took another strange decision by sidelining Karun Nayar for the West Indies series.
The board decided to give a chance to Hanuma Vihari now. What if he fails in this test series? Then they will bring in Karun for Australia series and he will be low on confidence. Later, they will give a chance to another player at his expense. These string of events can be avoided by giving Karun a chance to prove himself now, said Harbhajan.
Well, it looks like Bhajji has a point here. Karun has loads of first-class cricket experience up his sleeves and already scored a triple century in test cricket. Not giving a chance for him in the domestic series is nothing less than stupidity, say a few people who closely follow the game.
