Mumbai Indians management seems to be disappointed with the team’s form in the previous tournament after the 3-time champions exited the tournament in the league stage itself.
With November 15th being the last date for releasing one of their current players, Mumbai has decided to wave a goodbye to their hard-hitting superstar Kieron Pollard. The Carribean has been a prominent player in the team for 8 long years and built a strong follower base for himself in the process.
Apparently, Mumbai is trying to strengthen their batting line-up by bringing in a reliable opener so that Rohit Sharma can move back to the middle order and make the most out of the final overs.
There are rumors that Shikhar Dhawan may be joining the team for the next season. If this turns to reality, Mumbai will be a force to reckon with in IPL 2019.
