The Congress party leaders in Andhra Pradesh are in a dilemma whether to continue with the party or call it quits and look for other alternatives. Many of the senior leaders have moved away from the spotlight and nowhere to be seen in the party meetings. A few of them have already made things clear to the party high command that they cannot be active in politics anymore.
The main point that is working against the age-old party is the lack of strong leadership to spearhead election campaign. One may argue that Raghuveera Reddy is a senior leader and he can be efficient during the general elections. However, the damage done to the party is beyond compensatable and it takes nothing less than a miracle to get it back on track.
The Delhi-level leaders expected a miracle of sorts after bringing in Oommen Chandy and their Ex-leader, Kiran Kumar Reddy. The sad part is that both the leaders have no charisma or following in Andhra Pradesh. One big question comes to debate here, Is Congress party gone for good in AP? Only time will answer.
