In a televised interview with an English media channel, YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy said that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has openly extended his support to him.
YS Jagan said that he highly appreciated TRS chief KCR’s open support to YSRCP in demanding Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.
YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that if 17 MPs from TRS in Telangana were willing to join forces with the 25 MPs from YSRCP, it would be more than enough for any alliance at Centre to grant SCS to AP.
Jagan also lauded the Telangana CM for offering his support to YSRCP, despite not belonging to Andhra Pradesh. The YSRCP chief sounded positive that after achieving 42 MPs support, Centre would grant Special Category Status to AP state.
