Narendra Modi stood as a major attraction for the Bharatiya Janata Party during the 2019 nation-wide elections. The saffron party projected Modi as a potential game-changer by showcasing his leadership skills that greatly helped in the development of Gujarat. With everything going their way, BJP formed the government with a thumping majority and all eyes were on Modi as everyone expected dynamic governance that Congress failed to offer.
However, it has been nothing less to a roller coaster ride for Modi and BJP over their 4-year tenure. The NDA government came up with new implementations like demonetization, and Goods and Service Taxes(GST). There is no second thought in saying that these are two of the most prominent moves made by the central government.
We have been hearing reports, saying that Modi’s graph is on a downfall as he came up with stern moves that troubled the public to a great extent. This was very clear during the demonetization time as common public struggled to get their hands on the new currency notes. This cash drought invited a huge backlash on the Modi-led BJP.
A prominent news agency recently revealed that BJP will not win more than 130 seats in the 2019 elections. Well, we have to wait to for a year or so to actually find out whether Modi’s graph is on a downfall.
