Opposition leader of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stayed calm for a while when people were protesting for special status. He was busy with his Padayatra all the long but pledged his support to AP bundh for the special status category.
His silence on the issue was slowly drawing criticism as TDP leaders were claiming that YCP is looking to support BJP in 2019 elections.
Putting an end to all this, YS Jagan today stated that YCP’s MPs will be resigning to their posts on April 6th. He added that the central government should offer special status or else his party’s MPs will be resigning on April 6th.
This settles the issue at least for now, people in AP are utterly disappointed with BJP’s attitude towards AP.
