Andhra Pradesh BJP cell president, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana is proving to be the right option for saffron party to irk Chandra Babu Naidu. Kambampati Hari Babu, who previously served as the party president was removed from the past as he shared a close rapport with CBN. BJP was very determined to make Kanna the president and sidelined Manikyala Rao in the process.
It needs to be said that Kanna is doing a fine job, criticising Babu on every possible point, but his calm attitude towards Jagan and Pawan is sending wrong signals to the public. Right from his first day in office, Kanna has never made strong allegations against the opposition leaders in the state. He set all his focus on Babu and the failures of TDP government in the past 4 years.
Speaking at a recent event, Kanna said that the central government issued more than 85% of funds that it promised during the 2014 elections. If this is true, why would Chandra Babu claim that AP is struggling with a financial crisis? Why would the Reserve Bank of India state that AP is running on a deficit budget? Why is Amaravati still in planning stage and developments are limited to on-paper reports? Does BJP have rock-solid proofs that they allotted special funds to AP? It looks like only Kanna and Chandra Babu can answer these questions.
