The state political circles in the state are heating up as the elections are drawing close. In a recent public meeting, Nizamabad MP Kavitha Kalvakuntla targeted TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar’s wife Padmavathi Reddy.
She asked, “How can Uttam Kumar give party ticket to his wife, after repeatedly alleging TRS of being a family party?” Padmavathi Reddy would be contesting from Kodada constituency and is a strong leader but several parties are strongly protesting against Congress for giving ticket to family members.
The TRS leader openly challenged Uttam Kumar to give the Kodada ticket to some other party leader if he is truly against family rule like he states. While Padmavathi Reddy could ensure victory in Kodada, the various protests are pressurizing Congress to replace her.
