Konda Surekha has been making headlines with her aggressive statements against the chief minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Recently, Surekha said that KCR is trying to implement a one-man rule procedure in Telangana and further added that his family-oriented politics will come to an end when the elections are held in the state.
The latest update is that Konda Surekha and her husband, Murali have joined the Congress party today. They traveled with the party for many years in the past and shared a close bonding with the then chief minister, YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
Apparently, the Konda couple has asked for 3 MLA tickets in the coming elections but the party high command has made it clear that it would be tough for them to allot 3 tickets, citing the maha alliance.
It needs to be seen how the seat distribution procedure will unfold in Telangana as TDP is asking for a minimum of 30 MLA seats but the Congress party is yet to take the final call.
