Telangana IT minister K Taraka Ramarao made a few interesting comments, saying that people of Andhra Pradesh are asking TRS party to establish its wing in their state. He added that other states are looking up to Telangana for the welfare schemes that are being implemented by the TRS party.
Well, these are some hard to believe comments as TRS fought for the bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh, pushing Andhra neck deep into troubles. Telangana enjoyed a substantial income source in the form of Hyderabad, but that was not the case with Andhra Pradesh. The newly formed state is in deep financial crisis and that made life harder for the Telugu Desam Party.
With all this going on, which section of the public in Andhra Pradesh would hope to invite a party that is one of the main reasons for the troubles they are facing. It needs to be said that KTR went a tad overboard while trying to elevate his own party by bringing the reference to the twin state. It needs to be seen if TDP would react to KTR’s comments.
