Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy cleared the fact that his father and JD(S) Chief Deve Gowda did not interfere in the discussions of the portfolio allocation of the Congress-JD(S) cabinet and only conveyed his approval.
“Some channels have reported that Deve Gowda played a key role in the formation of the ministry and this is completely untrue. He did not interfere in the discussions held and only gave his nod to the final decision” he told mediapersons.
He also denied a conflict between his elder brother Revenna and Congress’s DK Shivakumar for the energy portfolio. When asked about holding the powerful finance portfolio he replied that he had taken it to fulfill the several promises he made to the people.
