Ravi Teja, who is upset with his last film Touch Chesi Chudu’s result has come up with yet another film titled, Nela Ticket. Touted as a wholesome family entertainer, the film has hit the screens today. Let’s see whether this film gives him fruitful result or not.

Ravi Teja, who is an orphan always finds happiness in helping others. On the other hand, Aditya Bhupati ( Jagapathi Babu) has been showcased a wicked-minded politician who goal is to become chief minister. At one point in time, both Ravi Teja and JB confront regarding a social issue. How will Ravi Teja face mighty Aditya Bhupati? and how will Ravi Teja emerge as a winner over JB? To know this, you have to catch the film in theatres near you.

Director Kalyan Krishna, who earlier delivered successful family entertainers like SCN and RRVC has come up with an out and out commercial film. Though the basic storyline of the film is decent he terribly failed in narrating it with an engaging screenplay. Not even a single scene in the film has a proper impact as most of the episodes are ended abruptly. Acting wise, Ravi Teja’s screen presence and his lively performance are saving grace for the film. As usual, JB shines in yet another baddie role as a wicked politician. New girl Malvika Sharma is cute looking and gave an okayish performance in the limited screen presence.

Plus Points:

Ravi Teja’s screen presence

Basic storyline

Uneven screenplay

Routine narration.

All in all, Nela Ticket is yet another regular formulaic film which struggles to impress the audience. Though Ravi Teja’s acting and a few confrontation scenes between him and JB are good, ages old narration and routine proceedings make it a boring watch for this weekend. Watch it for RT. Rating : 2.5/5
