The National Investigation Agency (NA) has hastened the investigation into YSR Congress Jaganmohan Reddy’s Kodi Kathi airport attack case.
The case relating to the knife attack on Jagan at the Vishakapatnam airport has been transferred from 7th Additional Munsif Magistrate (AMM) Court to the Metropolitan Sessions Judge (MSJ) Court in Vijayawada.
Jail authorities in Vishakapatnam were given orders to transfer the accused to Vijayawada.
At midnight last night, the accused Janipalli Srinivas who was taken into custody by NIA was transferred from Vizag to Vijayawada. He will be produced before the 3rd Metropolitan Magistrate in Vijayawada.
Earlier in the month, the High Court handed over the case to NIA based on a petition filed by YSRCP, demanding an unbiased investigation into the knife attack case on YS Jagan.
