Bigg Boss was a huge success in Telugu, thanks to the engaging content and NTR’s stunning presence of mind. The reality show registered great TRP’s in Telugu states, while the Tamil version with Kamal Hassan as the host was termed a dud right from the word go.
With such huge popularity, everyone expected Telugu Bigg Boss contestants to turn into the most talked about celebrities. Sadly, that is not the case with the contenders in Bigg Boss first edition.
Hari Teja, who was very lively in the show, expected a flurry of opportunities, but had to settle down for a few TV shows. Controversial critic, Kathi Mahesh chose a weird track and went after spotlight, targeting Pawan Kalyan. Interestingly, there is no news about the careers of Adarsh, Prince, Kathi Karthika, and Siva Balaji.
Bigg Boss garnered good attention and had a successful run, but lost all the craze and charm in no time after its completion. No one even spoke about the show or the contestants and that is a sad aspect, keeping in mind the success the show enjoyed when it was on-air.
On a whole, Bigg Boss season 1 contestants are disappointed with the lack of opportunities. We should wait and watch if the second season can change the fate of new contestants. Nani’s inclusion can either take the show to a whole new level or show adverse results.
