In a series of allegations against the ruling BJP, AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu questioned the Centre’s decisions taken since 2014. He asked the Centre to publicly describe the after effects of Demonetisation. He claimed that this might raise the petrol price to Rs 100 per litre.
Speaking to the media, he said, “The value of Rupee against the dollar is dipping lower and lower by the day. And what have they succeeded with their famed demonetization, except for troubling the common people? Who knows, the petrol rate might even go upto 100 Rs per litre.”
The Chief Minister alleged the Central government is sitting idle even though the ATMs are running dry of cash at several places. He accused the NDA led government of resorting to severe corruption and the huge amounts in the Swiss banks are the proof for this.
