Indian National Congres president, Rahul Gandhi is currently busy wrapping up the final campaigning works in Karnataka. The 47-year-old leader said that Modi is getting down to personal attacks on him and his mother for his political mileage.
Reacting to Modi’s statements in which he said Sonia Gandhi is an Italian, Rahul Gandhi said that his mother is better than many Indians. He added that Sonia made many sacrifices for the country and has more eligibility to call herself as an Indian than many current day politicians. Interestingly, Rahul said that Modi has developed a grudge on him and that is the reason behind his personal attacks during public meetings.
With today being the deadline day for political campaigning, all the political parties have intensified the promotions in Karnataka. A few survey reports suggest that we may see a hung situation in Karnataka as no party is strong enough to form the government independently.
It has already been reported that the general elections are set to be held on May 12th and the results will be declared on May 15th.
