Ex-TDP leader A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday announced that he would contest only from Kodangal Assembly constituency till he practices active politics.
Addressing his supporters at his residence in Kodangal, Revanth Reddy said that the real game in Telangana politics has just begun. He said he would hold a meeting with his supporters and well-wishers at Jal Vihar on Monday to decide his next move. He said the time has come to form a political front against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao in the State as he has been functioning like a ‘dictator’.
Revanth Reddy said he was quite upset over leaving TDP, but it was an essential decision which he needed to take in the larger interest of people.
Meanwhile, sources say that Revanth Reddy would meet Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi at New Delhi on October 31 to formally join the party.
