The entire nation looked up to the Karnataka general elections, such was the intensity and prominence these elections packed. We should admit that the entire campaign was filled with unexpected twists and turns all through. To everyone’s surprise, Kumaraswamy emerged as the chief minister of Karnataka despite winning just 38 of 224 MLA seats.
It looks like Karnataka’s political developments are showing great effects on Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. The insider reports are claiming that Pawan Kalyan is looking to repeat a similar feat in Andhra Pradesh as well. The buzz is that Pawan Kalyan is aiming for 30 MLA seats and hoping to turn kingmaker in Andhra Pradesh.
If that is the case, both YCP and TDP will be in dire need of support from a political party and Pawan Kalyan will be their only option. The actor turned politician will be looking to make the most out of the situation and may even aim for the CM chair. Well, these thoughts are just revolving in Pawan’s mind, but we should wait and watch if this turns reality in 2019.
The situation was very intense in Karnataka and Congress was ready to go to any extent to make sure that BJP does not come to power. This desperation greatly helped Kumaraswamy’s cause and eventually made him the CM of the state. Expecting a similar situation in Andhra Pradesh seems to be a bit too far-fetched.
