The Bharatiya Janata Party received unparalleled support from the voters during the previous elections, making it the single largest party in the country. As a result, the NDA government did not have the slightest of troubles while forming the government.
However, the latest political reports are suggesting that 2019 elections will be anything but a cakewalk for the BJP. As said by party sources, the internal survey results have come as a rude shock to the party high command. Interestingly, these surveys are suggesting that the saffron party will win not more than 255 seats in the following elections.
The larger-than-life implementations like GST and demonetization did not give the best of results for BJP and these survey results are just proving this point right. It is being heard that BJP will be heavily reliant on regional parties during the following general elections and they do not have any other option here.
