Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is laying out new strategies with 2019 general elections in mind. Apparently, the senior leader is meeting with his party leaders and discussing the party’s progress in various districts.
It is being heard that Babu is very particular about Kadapa district, which stood as a strong vote bank for YSR’s family over the years. Babu is determined to put up a good show in the following elections and will give MLA tickets to candidates only after they prove themselves in the internal surveys.
Also, Babu has ordered Kadapa leaders to stay more active and publicize government schemes in order to build a positive impression for the party. It needs to be seen if Babu’s new plan will trouble Jagan in his hometown.
