Team India former cricketer, Saurav Ganguly made some interesting comments about the squad selection for the ongoing Asia Cup tournament. Speaking at a recent interview, the former player said that the team management made a big mistake by not picking Rishabh Panth for the tournament.
Panth is considered the future wicketkeeper-batsmen for team India. The fact that he was not picked for a crucial tournament like Asia Cup is still surprising me, said Saurav.
Well, India has more than equipped batsmen up their ranks and adding a new one would simply be illogical, said a cricket follower.
It would be interesting to see if Panth will be the first-choice wicketkeeper in the upcoming series against Australia.
