Retaliating to his suspension from the Telangana Pradesh Congress, senior leader and former Union Minister Sarvey Satyanarayana reached New Delhi to complain to the All India Congress Committee.
Mr Satyanarayana met senior Congress leader AK Antony in Delhi and demanded Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Uttam Kumar Reddy’s resignation.
Speaking to the media after his meeting with AICC leaders, Sarvey Satyanarayana said “Mr Antony was shocked to know about my suspension from the party. I explained the mistakes made by Mr Khuntia and Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy. They don’t have any right to suspend me from the party. The TPCC president is a nuisance to the party. Leaders of other alliance parties had to face humiliation in the elections because of his actions. Uttam is intentionally damaging the party,”
Sarvey Satyanarayana had recently contested on a Congress ticket from Secundrabad Contonement and lost the assembly elections. He was suspended from the party this week for his unruly behaviour and verbal tirade during a party meeting in Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad.
