With just over 2 weeks left for the general elections in Telangana, the political scenario in the state has reached the climax stage. The political parties are eying on the opponent’s weaknesses and panning their moves accordingly.

The recent turn of events can eventually prove to be costly for the TRS party. Chevella MP, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy’s resignation is a perfect example for the same.

Vishweshwar Reddy is one of the most charismatic leaders in this area. The senior politician is the reportedly the richest MP in the state with declared assets of 528 crores.

The fact that he resigned for the party in this crux time, despite TRS high command putting in their best efforts to keep hold of him, directly suggests that there is a political swing and a cloud of uncertainty on the state politics.

The senior leader will be meeting Rahul Gandhi Today and he will join the Congress party in a day or two, say sources. This can come as a strong boost to the national party as another influential leader will be joining their ranks.

Konda Vishweshwar is the son-in-law of Apollo hospitals chairman C Pratap Reddy. His wife Sangita Reddy is serving as the managing director of the Apollo hospitals.
