Caretaker Chief Minister and TRS president K. Chandrashekhar Rao has claimed that the TRS would win 110 out of 119 seats in the next Assembly elections. He said the MIM would also retain 7 seats.
Addressing a public meeting in Nalgonda on Thursday, KCR accused the Congress and Telugu Desam Party of misleading the people on various issues. Appealing the people not to believe the statements being made by Congress and TDP leaders, he accused both the parties of causing obstructions in the development of Telangana. He alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu has been conspiring since beginning to create political crisis in Telangana State. He claimed that immediately after the declaration of results in 2014 elections, Naidu had conspired to stop TRS from forming the government. However, he said MIM President Asaduddin Owaisi immediately alerted him while extending unconditional support to TRS.
KCR claimed that the Congress-TDP alliance would not be effective. He said both TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy and CLP leader K. Jana Reddy would lose next elections from their respective seats. He said all 12 seats of erstwhile Nalgonda districts would be won by TRS.
The TRS chief said that the party’s manifesto would be released in the next 10 days and it includes promises like increasing the Aasra Pension amount.
KCR also appealed the Muslims to support TRS in next elections. He also claimed that the Jamat-e-Islami has already announced its support to the party.
