Tamil superstar, Vijay made some highly intriguing comments while speaking at the audio launch event of his upcoming movie Sarkaar.
Vijay said that he will stop acting in movies if he becomes the chief minister of the state. The star hero further added that he would ensure a corruption-less government if he looks after the administrative duties of the state.
These comments have been receiving a mixed response from the political circle. A few people are welcoming Vijay’s stand, saying that noted celebrities have the power to change the society and urged them to enter active politics.
However, minister Udhaya Kumar said that Vijay does not have the caliber to make it big in politics. He advised the actor to stick to his acting career.
