Andhra Pradesh chief minister recently made some hard-hitting comments on the central government. He said that the NDA government promised that it would be implementing new MSP( Minimum Support Price ) for agricultural crops. However, the government did not even offer single rupee till date, said CBN.
Sadly, Babu himself is yet to fulfill the promise that he made to the farmers during 2014 elections. In the election manifesto, TDP clearly mentioned that they would be implementing complete loan waiver scheme for the farmers. However, that is not the case now, the government has made adjustments to the scheme and said that only loans up to Rs 1.5 lakhs will be waived and the remaining has to be paid by the farmers.
TDP’s sudden decision affected many farmers as they believed the party’s manifesto and borrowed money from banks, but are struggling to repay the loans now.
How can Babu criticize the central government if he himself is not supporting the farmers? This is the main question being raised by the netizens.
