Andhra Pradesh opposition leader, YS Jagan took it to Twitter to criticise the ruling party in the state. Jagan tweeted that the TDP government failed to fulfill the promises it made during 2014 elections and did not implement most of the welfare schemes it declared in the manifesto.
Jagan listed out the 11 failures of the TDP government and added that the people of Andhra Pradesh are looking for a change. Jagan stated the government went back in the fight for special status. It needs to be said that the TDP government was not up to the mark when it came to implementation of the welfare schemes that it promised during the election campaigns.
Interestingly, even Jagan is receiving just above average marks as the opposition leader of Andhra Pradesh. It is very evident that Jagan could not make the most out of the government’s failures as his party took a weak stand while demanding the implementation of loan waiver and unemployment allowance scheme.
All in all, if Jagan makes it to power in 2019, the backlash on the TDP government will play a crucial role in the process, said a political follower.
