Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan’s much-awaited drama, Bharat, has hit the screens all over the world today. Since the film is releasing during the Eid festival season which is considered Salman’s lucky season, trade circles and fans are betting big on it.
Meanwhile, after the completion of the early morning shows, the initial reports are out and the film has got quite a mixed response from critics. Director Ali Abbas Zafar has banked heavily on family emotions than Salman’s star power. The public talk is that the first half of the film offers an average treat with good performances from Salman and Katrina, but the latter half is a bit dragged with slow-paced family drama.
On the other hand, the major feedback is that the film’s runtime should be trimmed by at least 15 minutes in the second half. However, we need to wait until the evening shows to get an idea of where the talk settles down eventually.
