A couple of days ago, Rajamouli announced the release date of the highly anticipated RR, starring NTR and Ram Charan as Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju, respectively. RRR has an ensemble cast from various Indian film industries, like Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani and several others. RRR also has international actors like Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris.
RRR is all set to release on a grand scale on October 13th, all over the world. Following the announcement of the release date, Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor expressed his displeasure over the release date, as his film Maidaan is also set to release on the same date.
Many audiences and fans from Tollywood are also expressing their concern over 13th October as the release date, as it is not a festival time, and because the collections of the film might be affected as a result. Many are of the opinion that RRR will do exceptionally in Tollywood, if it is released during a festival. As a result, many are saying that Rajamouli is taking a risk by releasing RRR during a non-festival time, in Telugu. It is now to be seen what will happen from here.
