Director Srikanth Addala is famous for his family-oriented subjects like Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. The director debuted with the 2008 film Kotha Bangaru Lokam and delivered a good hit.
Later on, he wowed everyone when he made the multistarrer Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. This was the first multistarrer in Telugu after ages. He then came up with Mukunda, which did not impress the audience so much.
In 2016, the director came up with Brahmotsavam, starring Superstar Mahesh Babu, and this film turned out to be one of the biggest disasters in the industry. Everything about the film was criticized, right from the pacing to the taking. A proper story was lacking, and the choreography was terrible. The director did not make a film after that.
Now, Srikanth Addala is teaming up with Victory Venkatesh for the remake of the Tamil film Asuran, titled Naarappa. This film is a completely different genre for the director, and many are wondering if he will do justice.
If the film proves to be a success, then Srikanth Addala will be back in the game. However, if the film fails, then surely his time will be up. Here’s hoping the best for him.
