It is already known that Telugu Desam Party senior leader Chinthakayala Ayyannapathrudu wept for a brief moment in the recently held politburo meeting. The senior leader said he was distressed that the party faced a poor result even after implementing numerous welfare schemes.
Cut to now, another TDP senior leader, KE Krishnamurthi, who previously served as deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, wept during a party meeting that was held yesterday.
Krishnamurthi said he couldn’t believe that his son, Shyam Babu lost from Pattikonda constituency which has been a stronghold for TDP over the years. He shed a few tears while giving his speech.
“I did not take my son’s defeat very well. The fact that he lost from TDP’s stronghold constituency by a margin of 42,000 votes disturbed me a lot,” he said.
Well, it looks like, apart from Chandrababu, many TDP leaders are yet to come to terms with their huge defeat in the election.
