Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy brought upon himself the wrath of countless people ever since he announced his idea of three capitals on December 17th, in the assembly.
Not just opposition, but also his own party members vocally rejected the idea of three capitals, many calling it absurd. Farmers began conducting rallies after that, many farmers having lost their lands for the capitalization of Amaravati.
Now, many more people, including students and others, are also taking part in rallies and protests, some objecting the idea of three capitals, and the others wanting their areas to be considered for capitals.
Jagan had previously announced that he had the idea of making Amaravati the legislative capital, Visakhapatnam the administrative capital and Kurnool the judiciary capital.
