The state of Andhra Pradesh continues to see a good number of coronavirus cases registered every single day. The state is currently under a partial lockdown, with relaxations being allowed from 6 AM to 12 PM.
The lockdown, according to the schedule so far, ends today, May 31st. Following a review meeting, it has now been announced that the partial lockdown would continue till June 10th.
Strict lockdown protocols would be followed from 12 PM to 6 AM, with only emergency services being allowed to function. On the other hand, while there would be relaxations between 6 AM and 12 PM, section 144 would be in effect. Further decisions on whether the lockdown should be extended or not would be taken towards June 10th, after examining the situation in the state.
