In a bid to curb traffic regulations violation, Mahesh Babu who plays chief minister imposes sensationally huge fines on acts of traffic rules contravention.
Now, we are seeing a Bharath Ane Nenu-esque implementation in Andhra Pradesh as the state government has levied huge fines on traffic rules violations.
From now on, under age driving will attract a fine of Rs 5000 and unnecessary honking will attract a fine of Rs 1000 for the first offence and Rs 2000 for subsequent offences.
Driving while speaking on a mobile phone will invite a fine of Rs 10,000 and so will wilful obstruction of emergency vehicles like ambulances.
A fine of Rs 10,000 will be levied for driving vehicles which do not have permits. Overloading of a vehicle will attract a fine of Rs 20,000.
