Not many TDP leaders are taking Chandrababu’s decision to boycott the MPTC and ZPTC elections seriously. They are openly contradicting the TDP chief’s decision and Bhuma Akhila Priya’s latest comments prove the same.
“TDP candidates will be contesting in MPTC and ZPTC elections in my constituency. I will be campaigning for them. People have the right to vote for TDP,” she said.
Well, Akhila Priya who is one of the senior leaders in the party and she herself is not obeying Chandrababu’s orders to boycott the election.
In fact, Akhil Priya said she would also be campaigning for TDP’s MPTC and ZPTC candidates.
This isn’t the first time TDP leaders are belittling Chandrababu. A similar incident took place in Hindupur as well. The local leaders have decided to field their candidates for the elections.
Chandrababu is already struggling to keep TDP relevant in Andhra Pradesh politics. Now, he is facing humiliating scenarios due to his own party leaders.
