Team India captain, Virat Kohli has reportedly sustained a nasty injury to his right thumb while training along with the squad.
Kohli was seen receiving some medical treatment on the field and he did not take part in the training any further.
Team India fans are now concerned that the men in blue might miss their talismanic player in the first world cup match, which is set to be played on June 5th against South Africa.
Interestingly enough, neither BCCI nor team management have made an announcement regarding this.
We can expect more details on the injury and Kohli’s availability for the first game by the end of the day.
