It is already known that the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has requested the CBI court to exempt him from attending the court hearing, citing his busy schedule as the reason. After this case was closed by the CBI court, saying Jagan should definitely attend the court hearing, he lodged a case in the high court.
Today, CBI gave a strong counter to Jagan, mentioning the reasons why he should attend court hearings without fail.
“Jagan has attended the court hearings just once after becoming the chief minister. He is showing one reason or another to avoid court hearing. There is a chance that he might influence those involved in the case and him attending the hearing is the only solution,” said CBI.
It would be really interesting to see how Jagan’s delegation will react to this counter from CBI.
