Since the onset of Covid-19 pandemic, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has been staying away from party activities. He is sparingly holding a public meeting and then going back to his residence in Hyderabad.
Chandrababu’s unavailability is apparently not going well TDP cadre as they do not have an active commander in chief now.
So, Chandrababu has reportedly asked his son Nara Lokesh to stay in touch with TDP cadre frequently.
Lokesh has been handed over with the responsibility of coordinating with TDP cadre and booth-level leaders. He will be holding multiple meetings with the second tier leaders of the party and try to keep their morale high.
Now that Chandrababu is not able to stay in touch with the party cadre, Lokesh has to take care of the back-end activities and stand as the backbone of the party.
