Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu made some very interesting comments while speaking about the chief minister YS Jagan.
“Jagan does not know how to handle Amaravati which is a mega project worth around Rs 2 lakh crores. That is the reason why he is trying to shift the capital. Does any state in the world have three capitals? Jagan’s idea is a useless one,” he said.
Chandrababu urged the YCP government to go to polls again with ‘Amaravati’ as the referendum.
“I demand all 151 YCP MLAs to resign and go to polls. Let all the parties contest again. If I lose the election, I will quit politics,” he said.
It remains to be seen how the ruling party YSRC will react to Chandrababu’s demand.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh assembly sessions will be commencing on January 20th. An announcement regarding the capital is expected to be made soon after.
