The government of Andhra Pradesh is being appreciated by national media and even union ministers for its proactive measures to contain Covid-19 outbreak in the state.
Incidentally, the government of Andhra Pradesh has put another step forward in the fight against Coronavirus by launching operation ‘Muskaan’.
As a part of operation ‘Muskaan’, special teams will be appointed to save homeless and unattended kids on the roads from Covid-19. They will be shifted to dedicated facilities where they will be provided medical care.
Covid-19 is spreading at a rapid rate all across the country and even in Andhra Pradesh. So, the state government has decided to save homeless children from the virus.
Andhra Pradesh DGP Gautam Sawang launched this scheme yesterday and Kurnool SP said that 101 boys and 18 girls were saved till now.
This is a first-of-its-kind implementation in the country and the government of Andhra Pradesh promises to implement the scheme with utmost sincerity.
Andhra Pradesh has reported a total of 33,019 Covid-19 positive cases till now.
