Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said today that Coronavirus is an invisible enemy and that we all have to do our part in fighting against it.
He further added that the medical staff all over India is doing everything it can to fight the virus, and that they are invincible.
India has now entered the 5th phase of the lockdown, wherein many relaxations have been given all over the country, in order to boost the economy. From June 8th, opening of religious places, malls and others will be decided depending upon the situation in a particular City. Opening up of Theatres and educational institutions will be decided in due time.
India’s economy has been greatly suffering ever since the nationwide lockdown was announced on March 25th. While the situation of Coronavirus is becoming worrisome, the government decided to give relaxations since the economy is also equally important.
India has reported more than 8000 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to more than 1.9 Lakhs in the country. India is now in the list of the top 7 most affected countries.
