The chief minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao interacted with media after the high-level meeting with healthcare officers and cabinet ministers.
In the press conference, KCR said, “The government of Telangana will continue to cut 50% salaries of government employees. We will also cut 75% salaries of public representatives.”
KCR further added that every eligible family in the state will be getting 12 KGs rice as a part of ration supplies distribution scheme in the month of May.
However, KCR stated that the government has decided to stop providing the financial aide of Rs 1500 to eligible families in the state, citing the financial crisis as the reason.
Also, KCR announced that Asara pension scheme will be continued without any exceptions.
